Two-piece salad serving set (spoon and serving fork) dating to 1950–1960, with horn components and silver handles in .800 argent, made in Italy in Art Deco style; spoon 24 cm high × 5 cm wide, fork 24 cm high × 3 cm wide, total gross weight 123 g.
Description from the seller
Salad cutlery consisting of a spoon and a serving fork, the set presents a combination of materials typical of fine silverware. Stamped as in the photos.
Handles made of silver; the design is in English style or San Marco, characterized by sober lines and classical moldings along the edges.
Functional parts: made in natural horn; this material is chosen not only for its varied aesthetics from beige to black but also because it is inert and does not react with the acids in dressings such as lemon or vinegar, which could otherwise etch.
Dimensions
Spoon: height 24 cm x width 5 cm
Fork: height 24 cm x width 3 cm
Weight 117 grams.
