Pieto Fornasetti vintage set of 6x ceramic appetizer bowls, decorated in black and white with images and letters to form the contents and a wide gilt band to the foot and inner rim. The subjects are peanuts, onions, almonds, cheese, sausages and olives. Designed by the historical producer Piero Fornasetti, made in Italy in the 1960s. At the base there is "FORNASETTI MILANO - MADE IN ITALY" mark on a black printed star with the hand and brush in the center (one golden). Reference: Fornasetti, Barnaba. Fornasetti: The Complete Universe. Rizzoli, 2010, p. 560, plate 13. The bowls are identified in the reference as "appetizer bowls" ("Stuzzichini"). Dimensions: diameter 7.5cm, height 5cm Conditions are good, coherent with their age, small signs are present. The set comes with its original gilded box from Fornasetti, but as can be seen in the photos its quite damaged and broken (top from the rest). The package will be delivered via trackable courier.
