This is a Japanese scissors "鋏 Hasami".
Forged from iron or steel using traditional Japanese techniques, these scissors reflect a craft tradition deeply rooted in Japanese culture. Japanese scissors (hasami) have long been made either from a single bent piece of steel or with riveted blades — a form that has remained an indispensable part of Japanese craft heritage for centuries. This collection is ideal for collectors of Japanese antique tools, folk crafts, and ethnographic objects.

Signs of wear, rust, and damage due to age and use are present. Please check the photos for details.
