Studio Bones Original Animation Genga - Fullmetal Alchemist - "Alphonse Elric"

From: Fullmetal Alchemist This is an authentic, original, one-of-a-kind Japanese animation director’s correction drawing (修正原画), hand-drawn by studio artists at Studio Bones and used in the creation of the Fullmetal Alchemist anime series. As an original production material, this artwork is entirely unique, with no duplicates in existence. Created for internal studio use during the original production period, this piece represents a higher-level stage in the animation process. As an animation director’s correction, it was used to refine and adjust key animation frames, ensuring character accuracy, consistency, and performance quality on screen. The drawing features Alphonse Elric in a composed, defensive stance, with his armored form carefully constructed through layered linework. The presence of multi-colored correction lines and structural adjustments highlights the refinement process carried out by senior animation staff, offering insight into how volume, weight, and mechanical detail were perfected for animation. Such correction drawings are especially valued by collectors, as they reflect direct artistic supervision and provide deeper insight into the production process. A Certificate of Authenticity will be included with your purchase. Please note that this is a vintage production item. Despite careful storage, age-appropriate wear such as paper toning, light creasing, or minor imperfections may be present. Buyers are strongly encouraged to review all images carefully before purchasing.
