A Tibetan gau (or ghau) is a traditional portable travel altar or reliquary from the Tibetan Buddhist culture. It is a metal box, often decorated with copper, silver or gemstones, worn on a cord as an amulet or prayer box for protection and luck.
The Gau is in good used condition with signs of aging. (See photos)
