Bronze Vajra (Dojre) from Asia, dated to 1980–1990, with dimensions 14.5 × 14.5 × 4 cm and weight 465 g, in good used condition with small signs of aging and spots.

A vajra (Tibetan: dorje) is one of the most important ritual objects in Tibetan Buddhism and has a deep symbolic meaning.
Symbolism:
The vajra symbolizes invincibility and unchangeability
it represents the absolute, indestructible nature of reality
The word "vajra" literally means "diamond" or "thunderbolt" in Sanskrit
It stands for spiritual power, wisdom and enlightenment
Symmetrical shape with a central knob and projecting points at both ends
The central knob represents the absolute truth.
Use:
Used during rituals and ceremonies in conjunction with a ghanta (ritual bell)
The vajra is held in the right hand (symbolizes method/compassion)
The bell is held in the left hand (symbolizes wisdom)
Together they represent the union of wisdom and compassion.
