Description from the seller
Omega Constellation sample, dating from 1954 (serial 14,231,613), embodying the golden era of Omega precision.
A true collector's item that combines Swiss technical mastery with the refined Italian goldsmithing of the era.
Pie-Pan dial "First Generation": The legendary 12-facet dial in original condition (not reissued).
It features the beveled and gold-applied "Arrowhead" indices and the refined "Crosshair" graphic (central crosshair)
Movement "Bumper" Caliber 354: The heart of the watch is the famous hammer automatic movement, chronometer-certified.
It is one of the first automatic movements mounted on the Constellation line, known for its robustness and the characteristic mechanical "feedback" at the wrist.
National Case in 18kt Gold (750): Case in solid gold produced under official Omega license for the Italian market (punch 62 BO - Bologna).
This practice, typical of the 1950s, guaranteed excellent goldsmith quality and a gold weight often higher than Swiss cases.
