Chancella Sogrape - Old Wine Brandy - 70cl - 6 bottles

Chancella Old Wine Brandy 6 x 0.70L 6 Bottles Portuguese Old Wine Brandy WINEMAKER: Luis Sottomayor. VINIFICATION Famous for its Port wine since 1751, Ferreira also dedicates itself to the selection and aging of high-quality brandies. It is in our cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia that the brandies are carefully chosen and aged in 270-liter oak casks. In order to obtain the highest quality, tests are periodically carried out and several batches of different ages and characteristics are introduced. After the final blend is selected, the cachaça is placed in 640-liter barrels, where it ages. TASTING NOTES Dark golden in color with greenish hues, this aged brandy has a very strong aroma of high-quality wood. On the palate, it is smooth, velvety, and has a very elegant and persistent finish. SERVING Excellent as a digestive, served in a cognac glass. Serve at 18-20ºC. This wine brandy can be consumed immediately after bottling or stored and aged for many years. HISTORY Sogrape is Portugal's leading wine company, with an unparalleled presence, top brands and exceptional vineyards in the country’s main wine-growing regions: Vinho Verde, Douro/Porto, Dão, Bairrada, Bucelas and the Alentejo. Sogrape combines its in-house production with the purchasing of grapes from thousands of growers in a collective effort which nurtures – and brings to the world – the very best in Portuguese wines. PLEASE NOTE: This is a recurring auction. The seal number(s) you see on the photos might differ from the one(s) on your bottle(s).
