Philotrain H0 - Model tram (1) - Motorcar 265 - HTM

Motor car tested and working but after years of inactivity needs some TLC.

Between 1919 and 1926 the Haagsche Tramweg-Maatschappij (HTM) purchased the series 250-299, consisting of 50 motor cars. These trams, built by HAWA (Hannover) and Werkspoor (Utrecht), were an enlarged version of the earlier 'Fordjes'. Because of the long delivery period, there were differences between the subseries.

The trams were used on almost all Haagse city lines. A notable example is HTM 265: this was the HTM's first museum tram and served until 1963. Today this tramcar has been restored to the 1920 state and is part of the collection of the Haags Openbaar Vervoer Museum.
