Six Moretti satinato vases exclusive for Bloomingdale's New York, dating to 1960–1970, by Carlo Moretti of Murano, in glass with colors blue, green, orange, red and turquoise, each about 6.5 cm in width and depth, 18 cm tall, with a weight of 0.8 g, condition nearly new and unused, one still with its original label, and accompanied by a catalog and provenance from the exporter's estate in Mestre, Venice.
Description from the seller
Six Moretti vases from the series "Satinato" exclusively manufactured for "Bloomingdales" in New York.
This series is extensively documented in literature, catalogs and descriptions and in a lot of six pieces extremely rare.
It concerns partly vases made of overlay glass.
One vase still bears the original label.
These vases come from the estate of the exporter and were sold in Mestre (Venice) by the exporter’s mother. She found these treasures when she dissolved her Murano glass business.
To this lot of six Moretti vases belongs also the catalog in which the glass objects are described and pictured.
