Description from the seller

GENERAL

This exemplar has been prepared with great attention to quality and originality for the true enthusiast. Originally from the United States, the car has now been fully inspected by the RDW and issued with a valid Dutch registration. It is an exceptionally stylish appearance that effortlessly combines brute power with the unmistakable charm of a classic Corvette, making it a standout on the road and in a collection.

BODYWORK & PAINTWORK

When the car was purchased, it was red and the paint left something to be desired. To restore the car to its full glory, the bodywork was completely stripped and professionally repainted in the fabulous original factory color Sebring Silver. During this process all components were expertly dismantled and after the high-quality paintwork were reassembled very neatly. The chassis is nicely tight, the rubber is in good condition, and all glass is intact. A unique addition is that the original hardtop is present with the car; it is currently still red, which creates a beautiful and sporty contrast with the Sebring Silver of the body.

TECHNICAL

The technical condition of this Corvette has been thoroughly addressed. After import from America, the car was fully inspected and technically prepared for Dutch regulations. Maintenance and service are entrusted to none other than André Boer in Wezep, the absolute Corvette specialist of the Netherlands. Thanks to this expert care, the car is in a healthy and immediately road-ready technical state, ready to hit the road with the reliability you would expect from a specialist.

INTERIOR

The interior exudes the pure ambiance of an authentic sports car and is in very well-kept condition. The carpeting, seats, and other upholstery are neat and entirely intact, with only light, characteristic signs of use. The dashboard is in good condition and shows no cracks. Nearly all gauges function properly, except for the tachometer, whose needle has been broken off; a new needle is neatly provided. The classic radio does not currently work, but with the deep, fabulous soundtrack of the engine in the background that is actually unnecessary for the connoisseur.

DOCUMENTS

The car is administratively fully ready for the road and has a valid Dutch registration certificate. The invoice for the work performed by Corvette specialist André Boer is also present, which directly supports the technical history. If the car is sold abroad, we can fully arrange an export plate with the accompanying documents for a smooth transfer.

PICKUP

You are warmly invited to personally view this stunning Corvette and experience the high quality of the new paintwork for yourself. The car can be collected on site immediately after purchase. If desired, we can, in good consultation, assist in organizing suitable and safe transport to your preferred destination.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This Corvette in Sebring Silver is the perfect opportunity for the enthusiast seeking a fair, professionally sprayed and specially maintained American classic. With the presence of the original hardtop and a healthy technical base, this car offers a fantastic combination of immediate driving pleasure and excellent potential for future value.

Disclaimer

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
