Description from the seller

Set of 12 glass goblets with a decorative 800 silver band – Italy, Florence (20th century)

Description

Elegant set composed of 12 glass goblets with a decorative 800 silver band, expression of the Italian silversmith tradition.

Each glass features a refined band in solid silver stamped with the 800 mark, made with sober and elegant workmanship, perfectly integrated with the glass. The clean, timeless design makes them ideal both for use and as high-quality decorative elements.

The glasses are stamped with an Italian 800 mark and with an official star-shaped stamp and number 438 FI, identifying a registered silversmith in the Florence area. This marking system was introduced in 1968, allowing the production to be placed in the second half of the 20th century.

This is Italian production of excellent quality, linked to the Tuscan tradition, characterized by careful workmanship and not industrial, with finishes that highlight the artisanal craftsmanship.
