Description from the seller

The Zeiss Ikon Contina with fixed Novar lens is a less “scenographic” version compared to the folding ones, but actually more practical and modern in use. Produced by Zeiss Ikon in the 1950s, it represents an important step: from the complexity of bellows cameras toward a design that is more direct and immediate.

Here there is no opening mechanism at all.
No bellows, no front that snaps forward. The lens is fixed to the body, always ready for use. This completely changes the relationship with the camera.

It is a camera that doesn’t need “preparation”: you pick it up, set it, and shoot.
Compared to the folding models, it eliminates a step and makes everything faster and more natural.
