Vintage Sheffield Silver-Plated Silent Butler / Crumb Collector, Made in England:
This elegant English silver-plated silent butler(also known as a crumb catcher or crumb tray) dates from the mid-20th century and was produced in Sheffield, England.
It features beautiful hand-engraved floral and scroll decoration on the hinged lid, a smooth interior tray, small decorative shell-shaped feet, a scalloped edge, and a dark wooden handle with a matching shell motif thumb rest.
The base is marked EPNS(electroplated) with other hallmarks(unclear) and Made in England.
Dimensions: 15 x 10 x 5 cm
Weight: 162 grams
Condition: Excellent vintage condition.
