History: Vov (from the Venetian term “vovi,” meaning eggs) was conceived in 1845 by a pastry chef from Padua, specialized in torrone production, who decided to use the remaining yolks, combined with Marsala wine, alcohol, and sugar, to start producing a zabaglione liqueur.
