Giusy Curto Pelle - Land

This pair of abstract paintings, characterized by beige, cream and brown tones with a strong tactile texture in a contemporary style, created with a mixed technique and organic materials that further characterize and emphasize the abstract subject.

Giusy Curto Pelle is a young entrepreneur. She practices her main profession in the artistic field, being a Doctor of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage, but she has always nurtured a deep interest in exploring her own artistic and expressive form.

She began her training by enrolling at the Filippo Juvara Art Institute in San Cataldo, choosing the experimental track in Cataloging and Relief of Cultural Heritage. After obtaining the diploma, she chose to pursue studies at the University of Palermo, at the Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences, following the Course in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage.

Her love for the artistic world from a creative perspective, which she had moved away from for several years, has brought her back to approach this sector again. Her current artistic research aims at a balanced union between tradition and innovation in search of her own artistic language.

In her works the presence of traditional techniques, materials and subjects is evident, elaborated in a modern key with a contemporary style and language.

Her research and study of materials continually lead her to perform numerous experiments; we indeed see the use of flat or shaded colors intertwined with patches of painterly material that she uses to create marks on the canvas, almost forming a new texture in relief, often highlighted by the use of metallic leaves.

The canvas will be shipped with frame included and carefully packed for safe transport.
They will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
