The folio contains scripture from chapter 30, Ar-Run (The Romans) v.23-27 which focus on the signs of Allah’s existence, omnipotence, and the inevitability of resurrection. These verses highlight natural phenomena and the order of the universe to urge reflection on divine wisdom. The Chapter reveals God's six signs of His power over life and death 1) The Creation; 2) Spouses; 3) Diversity; 4) Sleep and Work; 5) Lightning; 6) The Universe. this folio covers signs 4-6. The themes cover Monotheism (Tawhid): Demonstrating that only one Creator could design and maintain such a structured system; Resurrection (Akhirah): Using the analogy of bringing dead land back to life to explain the inevitability of the Hereafter; and
Reflection: Encouraging humanity to use their senses (hearing, reasoning) to recognize divine wisdom in daily life.
It is written in a Arabic naskh script, with black ink and red diactritical markings to guide the devotee through prayer. In this case there are 17 lines of fine script with gold 'aya' marking the verses and several 'Allah' in gold thuluth font. The folio has two decorative marginals, which are in great condition, illuminating the text.
