Description from the seller

interesting and wonderful verge-fusee pocket watch, in silver, built by Tho. Hume (Thomas Hume), London, around the mid-1800s, complete with the antique winding key for the watch, Birmingham assay marks. Functioning.
Despite its age, its overall condition of preservation is very good.
White porcelain dial, with no missing pieces or hairlines, with Roman numeral indicators in black porcelain, gilded original hands, glass: mineral, original with a flat rim at the top, somewhat opaque due to years of daily use. Both cases close well, movement functioning, beautiful and clean with finely engraved a face and fretwork motifs. Inevitable small signs, natural aging.
Measurements cm: 5.5 diameter x 7.5 with ring x 2.6 thickness. Weight g. 144.5.
