Vintage damask tablecloth + 6 matching napkins – 1950s – exceptional condition
Stunning set of antique table linen dating from the 1950s, comprising a large damask tablecloth and six matching napkins, in a very beautiful damask cotton with a slight satin sheen.
The tablecloth features a refined damask weave with pretty ton-sur-ton motifs, typical of high-quality household linen from this era. The fabric catches the light, giving an elegant and luminous look.
Dimensions:
• Tablecloth: 1.45 m x 2.20 m
• Napkins (x6): approximately 54 x 47 cm
The napkins are matching and all embroidered with an old monogram finely worked (interlaced initials, probably LJ or LC), which adds a lot of charm and authenticity to the set.
Condition:
Very well maintained, no defects to report. The linen is clean, with no stains or snags.
Material:
Damask cotton of high quality, with a slightly satin finish.
