Description from the seller
Title: Still life of a vineyard
School: Hyperrealist School (20th century)
Style: Hyperrealism
Technique: Oil on canvas
A refined still life with a classical composition centered on an abundant arrangement of fruits on a stone surface. Prominent are clusters of white and dark grapes, accompanied by peaches, plums, and small wild berries, all rendered with an extremely high degree of detail and optical fidelity. In the upper area, a partially filled crystal goblet provides verticality and balance to the scene, reflecting light in a subtle and precise way.
Directed lighting creates a marked contrast between light and shadow, accentuating volumes and textures: the translucency of the grapes, the velvety skin of the peaches, and the shine of the crystal. The dark background helps emphasize the composition, clearly referencing the tradition of the classical still life reinterpreted under a contemporary hyperrealist language.
The technical execution shows meticulous and controlled brushwork, where every element is treated with almost photographic precision, a hallmark of 20th-century hyperrealism.
The work is presented in an intricately carved and gilded wooden frame in a classical style, with relief vegetal and ornamental motifs in the corners. The gilded finish features light patinas that give it an elegant, aged appearance, in harmony with the traditional still-life aesthetics. Its broad and elaborate moulding enhances the visual depth of the piece and reinforces its decorative character.
Measurements: 83.3 x 72 cm (with frame); 61.3 x 51 cm (without frame)
Notes:
The work may sustain damage during transport even with proper packaging. In that case, we will need photographs of the damages to proceed with compensation. Customer satisfaction is always our priority.
Exceptionally, shipping costs may be affected by an overcharge for causes such as being outside a continental territory, excessive size or weight of the item. PremiArt will not be responsible for this surcharge in any case.
Due to problems at the border with Switzerland we are obliged to inform that shipments with a length or height exceeding 1 meter to that destination will not be carried out.
