An elegant Portuguese silver tray (salver), dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, bearing official hallmarks used between 1887 and 1937.
The tray features a beautifully shaped, multi-lobed outline with a finely pierced gallery rim, adding depth and refinement to the piece. It stands on small decorative feet, enhancing its presence and elegance.
The central field is richly engraved with a charming pastoral scene, depicting birds among foliage and water, surrounded by delicate floral motifs. The border is further embellished with intricate engraved patterns, demonstrating fine craftsmanship typical of Portuguese silverwork of the period.
