Coppia di applique in ottone – stile classico francese – XX secolo

Descrizione
Elegante coppia di applique in ottone dal gusto classico, caratterizzate da linee tornite e proporzioni armoniose che richiamano lo stile francese tradizionale.
La struttura presenta un braccio orizzontale con anello terminale decorativo e corpo centrale con elemento sferico, tipico delle produzioni di gusto neoclassico reinterpretate nel corso del Novecento. Il portacandela è realizzato con finto effetto cera colata, dettaglio che contribuisce a ricreare l’atmosfera delle antiche illuminazioni a candela. La patina dell’ottone, calda e vissuta, dona autenticità e fascino agli oggetti, rendendoli particolarmente adatti sia ad ambienti classici sia a contesti più contemporanei in contrasto.
Ideali per ingressi, corridoi o zone living, dove possono creare punti luce discreti ma di grande carattere.

Buone condizioni generali in rapporto all’età. Presentano: patina naturale dell’ottone, segni di ossidazione e usura superficiale, piccole imperfezioni e segni del tempo sul metallo, segni sul portalampada in finta cera. Una delle due applique risulta leggermente fuori asse.

Curiosità
Questo tipo di applique si ispira direttamente ai modelli francesi del XVIII e XIX secolo, quando le luci da parete erano progettate per ospitare candele. Nel corso del Novecento, queste forme sono state reinterpretate in chiave elettrica, mantenendo però dettagli decorativi come il finto effetto cera colata.
