Description from the seller
The Optima 335 Sensor is a compact analog camera produced in the 1970s by Agfa. It’s a machine that combines simplicity with a small distinctive innovation: the famous “red sensor,” an electronic shutter system that makes it instantly recognizable.
As soon as you look at it, what stands out is that front red button. It’s not a mere aesthetic detail, but the heart of the user experience. Instead of the classic mechanical button, Agfa introduced this electronic system: a light touch is enough to take a photo. It feels completely different from traditional cameras, more modern and almost “anticipating” what will become normal years later.
The Optima 335 is designed to be affordable. It doesn’t require advanced skills and minimizes technical decisions. Exposure is automatic: the camera reads the light and sets the correct shutter speed, leaving the photographer only the task of composing and pressing the shutter.
