Ferrania Rondine Linear 2.5 Analogue camera

This is presumably a standard focal length, around 50 mm, designed for rangefinder cameras or advanced compact cameras. The “Linear” designation refers to an optical design intended to maintain fairly uniform performance, although in practice these lenses were often built with simple solutions, more aimed at cost containment than absolute perfection. The red Ferrania Rondine was introduced in 1951. It was manufactured at the Milan factories.
