The Petri 7s is a 1960s rangefinder film camera produced by Petri Camera Co. It is one of the most interesting Japanese rangefinders in its class, appreciated for its bright lens and good value for money.
Design and construction
The 7s has a compact metal body, with a classic style:
chrome finishes and black coating
solid build but not heavy
simple control layout
The viewfinder integrates the rangefinder system, with a central patch for focusing.
The slow shutter speeds are to be checked, certainly from 1/30 s and slower.
