Description from the seller
Premium - Celestine Geode
An interior decoration essential
Celestine comes from the Latin term « coelestis » meaning “heavenly.” More commonly it can be translated as “sky blue.” In 1789, shortly after its discovery, the German mineralogist Abraham Gottlob Werner named this crystal thus, its reflections resembling a sky bathed in light.
Its color, of great gentleness, earns it the nickname “Stone of Angels.” According to legend, it was born from the pure and hypnotic song of angels. It is also associated with the constellation Pleiades, considered the spiritual cradle of humanity.
Many synonyms are attached to it, including celestite, cliftonite, dioxynite, Sicilianite, or strontian sulfate.
