It feels like catching a glimpse of someone who cannot be held onto completely – as if the painting itself is trying to show a person, and at the same moment loses them again. Fragments appear, vanish, overlap. Nothing stays long enough to become clear.

The different layers work like memories that no longer fit neatly together. A pattern here, a face there, gaps and shifts in between – as if identity is constantly recomposing and at the same time disintegrating again.

There is something very familiar in that: the sense of never being merely one fixed version of oneself. Instead, one is many things at once – shaped by moments, impressions, roles. "Fleeting Identity" captures this quiet, inexorable becoming and passing away inside.
