Mercedes 300 E 4-MATIC of the W124 model range (MoPf1) in very beautiful original condition, condition 2+ according to classic-analytics Professional-Check.
This beautiful and very well maintained car was first delivered on 17.04.1990 in Amriswil (Canton Thurgau) and used from 1999 in sunny Ticino. The service history was largely carried out at Mercedes-Benz and at the prescribed intervals. The stamped Swiss vehicle title, the service booklet with the original data card, and the on-board folder with the original operating manual, etc., are of course present and in as good a condition as the vehicle.
Non-smoker vehicle, no animals.
Initially acquired by me in Switzerland, the vehicle is being offered from my private collection for space reasons. The vehicle was properly declared for import into the EU. German H registration since 2021. I am the first and only registered owner in the German vehicle title.
Minimal imperfections (primarily the trim strip of the front bumper, which can be easily replaced). Please refer to the attached photos and feel free to inspect in person.

GENERAL:
Excellent, rarely good overall condition
BODY/PAINT:
The paint is in excellent condition aside from minimal imperfections (see photos).
TECHNICAL:
No backlog of repairs or maintenance. Maintenance and services were carried out regularly and in accordance with regulations. New ignition distributor cap. The antenna base should occasionally be replaced (a replacement base is included).

INTERIOR:
Interior trim without flaws. No cracks in the dashboard, etc., driver’s seat not torn.
DOCUMENTS:
On-board folder complete. Service booklet from the initial delivery available (see photos). Numerous original invoices available (complete since 2004). Mileage is documented without gaps through the service booklet and invoices.

Technical inspection (TÜV/HU):
The last German main inspection took place on 26.04.2023 at 193,479 km and was valid until 30.04.2025. Currently the mileage is 193,614 km (status 23.03.2026) and in the coming days another 300 to 400 km may be added. The vehicle has always stood dry in a clean hall when not in use.
Since I have registered this vehicle with a seasonal license only for March and April of each year, the main inspection in Germany can be extended by two months without penalty (registration). I am sure the vehicle will pass the technical inspection without issue and I am happy to have it renewed prior to export against payment of the inspection fee (approx. €200). It will then be valid for two more years and a German export plate for driving on own axle can be arranged.
I am not sure whether the German HU is recognized in all EU states or whether you must present the vehicle again during registration in another country (this varies by country). Please inquire about the conditions in your destination country. If the German HU is not recognized there, the vehicle would have to be presented again locally.
Operational readiness:
The vehicle is, of course, drivable and should be able to be driven on its own axle to distant destinations without problems. Please note only the service interval (oil change). Transport on a truck or trailer is not required.
However, I would recommend performing an oil change either before departure or immediately after transferring on own axle, as the last oil change was at 184,000 km and Mercedes recommends an oil change every 10,000 km. The oil itself is still clean. Oil level and oil pressure are in the optimal range (I checked the oil level today).
4MATIC system:
The 4MATIC works flawlessly. There are no hydraulic leaks known and the indicator lights go out after starting. Everything is as it should be.
Service booklet:
The original Mercedes service booklet with data card and all documents belonging to the original onboard folder are present and will be included with the vehicle.
The complete maintenance history is documented in the service booklet. For some of the performed work, the original service invoices are also included.
Rust and bodywork:
I am not aware of any corrosion. All jack points and the rear wheel arches are in excellent condition. I have also taken some current photos of the jack points and rear wheel arches. This Mercedes, at its first delivery – as is common in Switzerland – received an excellent cavity sealing and is in correspondingly good condition.

All customs and import formalities from Switzerland to the EU were fully completed in 2021. Otherwise registration in Germany (EU) would not have been possible.
