Inspired by iconic portraits included in the famous White Album by The Beatles, this LEGO set (from 2020, already retired) from the Art series, consisting of 2,933 pieces, allows you to create one of the detailed portraits of the four members: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, or Ringo Starr.
During the build, listen to the included soundtrack (the instructions include a QR code to access the soundtrack, about ninety minutes long) and immerse yourself in stories and unexpected details about the band. Complete the build with an exclusive autographed “The Beatles” card and display your artwork on a wall or shelf.
In one photo, the portrait of John Lennon that I had on display in my LEGO room is visible, the portrait you see fixed to a wooden beadboard wall as if it were a painting; in a photo of the same portrait, I photographed the back side where the wall-mount hooks are present.
The set comes with an instruction manual and box; the latter has been opened by cutting the plastic seals and shows small signs of wear on the corners and on one side (see the numerous photos).
I preferred to store unused pieces (necessary for the other portraits) in a plastic binder that I will ship with the set.
