Gorgeous vintage wall clock from Metamec from England, executed in a stylish and recognizable mid-century modern design. This clock combines a clean, minimalist timepiece with a particularly mechanical day- and date window, making it both functional and decorative.

Metamec was a well-known British manufacturer of clocks and instruments and grew in the 1960s and 70s to become one of the largest producers of wall clocks in Europe. Their designs are known for clear typography, modern styling, and reliable mechanics.

This clock features a large, easy-to-read dial with clear black numerals and hands, complemented by a sleek red second hand. In the center lies the distinctive window through which both the day of the week and the date are visible. This mechanical calendar mechanism ensures that the clock not only shows the time but also immediately displays the correct day information.
