Vintage Johnson Bros “Coaching Scenes” coffee/tea service – England, 1950s-70s
Elegant ironstone ceramic coffee/tea service produced by the renowned English manufacturer Johnson Bros, decorated with the famous motif “Coaching Scenes – Hunting Country,” depicting carriage scenes in the English countryside in a Victorian style.
The service is distinguished by refined decoration in sepia tones with multicolor details and rich floral borders, typical of post-war English production. Each piece is stamped on the bottom “Made in England by Johnson Bros – Ironstone.”
Lot composition:
1 teapot with lid width 22 cm, height 21 cm
1 sugar bowl with lid diameter 15 cm and height 13 cm
1 milk jug diameter 10 cm, height 8.5 cm
6 coffee cups diameter 6.5 cm and height 5 cm
6 saucers diameter 11.5 cm
In good overall condition, carefully preserved, with normal signs of aging, free of chips, cracks or restorations.
Perfect for collectors or as a refined decorative item in classic English style.
