A superb Louis XV-style mantel clock, made in France toward the end of the 19th century.
This elegant decorative piece stands out for its lively, refined Rococo silhouette, richly adorned with finely chased gilded bronze appliqués depicting botanical motifs and scrolls.

The case is made of wood with a rosewood veneer in a beautiful mahogany hue, perfectly highlighting the bronze decorative elements. The circular white enamel dial is adorned with blue Roman numerals and Louis XV–style open-work hands.

The clock is equipped with a mechanical pendulum movement with hour and half-hour chimes, visible at the back. The mechanism has undergone minor maintenance and adjustment work to ensure correct and stable operation.

With its graceful proportions and decorative presence, this clock is a fine collector’s piece and a stylish decoration for a classic interior or a cabinet of antique watchmaking enthusiast.
