Important wall cross made in solid gilded bronze, of French manufacture from the end of the 19th century, characterized by an elegant scenographic presence and superior execution quality. The object immediately strikes with its decorative richness and the depth of the reliefs, which attest to careful, non-serial workmanship.
The structure features finely ornamented trilobed terminals with raised floral motifs, typical of the 1800s French decorative taste, while the background is adorned with a refined stamped texture that creates a very pleasant play of light. At the top there is the cartouche “INRI” modeled in relief, while the figure of Christ, well proportioned and with good anatomical rendering, emerges with strong plasticity from the surface, giving the whole a powerful visual and devotional impact.
