Material: Fine Limoges porcelain, gold gilding.
Description: Superb complete service for 6 people, reflecting the savoir-faire of the Legrand house. The set features an elegant, structured design, a precursor of Art Deco. The decoration consists of a frieze of gold Greek motifs outlined by a fine cobalt blue border, all on porcelain of dazzling whiteness with a gadrooned relief on the base of the pieces.
The set includes 15 pieces:
1 Large coffee pot: Handle and spout fully gilded, lid with a gilded knob.
1 Covered sugar bowl: Double gilded handle.
1 Milk jug / creamer: Interior and handle gilded.
6 Cups: Elegant shape, gilded geometric handles.
6 Saucer bases: Matching the frieze decor.

Condition:
Excellent condition for its age. The gilding is remarkably fresh, with very little wear, even on the areas of handling. No chips, no cracks, nor restorations.
