Bedspread - 280 cm - 274 cm - embroidered bedspread

Gorgeous double bed blanket from the early decades of the 20th century, part of my grandmother's wedding trousseau. The blanket is entirely hand-embroidered on ultra-thin white linen in full stitch and cutwork, with inserts of squares worked in filet crochet with geometric and/or floral designs. In the center of the blanket there is a cutwork circle with a cherub surrounded by filet embroidery and filet roses.
It is edged on three sides by a very light filet frill, while the fourth side is finished with openwork.
The blanket is intact and free of stains as it has been well preserved, cleaned, and not ironed, wrapped in tissue paper.
