Description from the seller
Univex (1938–1942) – Vintage Bakelite Camera
Univex AF, an original American box camera produced between 1938 and 1942.
The camera features a beautifully preserved Bakelite body with elegant Art Deco lines, metal side clips, a red frame counter window, and the classic Univex nameplate. It is in very good condition for its age and stands out as a genuine collector’s piece.
The Univex AF originally used Univex No. 00 film (no longer manufactured), which makes it primarily a display or collection item, though it is also popular among enthusiasts who enjoy creative modifications. Its compact size and distinctive design make it an excellent decorative object for a studio, office, bookshelf, or vintage themed interior.
• Authentic American camera from the late 1930s
• Bakelite body with Art Deco styling
• Lightweight, compact, and visually striking
• Well preserved example with intact metal hardware
• Ideal for collectors, display, or creative experimentation
