Description from the seller
Bastet is the goddess of ancient Egypt, protector of the home, fertility and joy. Represented as a cat or a woman with a feline head, she symbolizes domestic protection. She evolved from a warrior deity to a more gentle and maternal figure.
Quim Moya (Barcelona, 1975) is a visual artist and cultural producer with a consolidated international career. Since 2008, he has developed live painting performances that are presented in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and America, at major festivals and avant-garde performing arts contexts. At the same time, he begins and directs artistic projects with social commitment such as Natura és Cultura, La Caixa de Vidre and Acts of Liberation, where artistic creation becomes a tool for collective transformation, research and contemporary memory. He has created tailor-made artistic projects for international figures and brands such as Lewis Hamilton, Dan Brown, Porsche and FC Barcelona, integrating painting, performance and visual narrative. His practice connects painting, the body and the community, positioning art as a living process with cultural and human impact.
He has over 12 solo exhibitions, 30 group exhibitions and various awards.
