Crimson Portal is an absolute minimalist artwork, designed to impose an immediate presence in a high-end interior. Maria Ruisi, born in Riga in 1983, is a PhD holder, researcher and artist, whose work is part of a deep and ongoing exploration of texture and matter from a very young age. Early on, she developed a unique sensitivity to surfaces, structures, and the silent language of matter.
Design engineer and interior-decoration specialist, she builds an artistic vision at the crossroads of science, space, and emotion. Her work is not limited to visual aspects: it is sensory, tactile, and immersive. Each creation is the result of years of research, intuition, and refinement.
Her artistic approach is driven by a constant objective: to explore and master a wide range of techniques, including the most complex, while sublimating them with a contemporary, elegant, and controlled aesthetics. She continually pushes the boundaries between art, design, and innovation.
