Description from the seller
Akai AP-004X Turntable – fully automatic – vintage hi-fi
Description
The Akai AP-004X is a high-quality hi-fi turntable from the 1970s (approximately 1973–1976), built in Japan and part of the better Akai range from that period. This model combines a belt drive with fully automatic operation, providing both ease of use and solid performance.
The turntable features a precise motor and a statically balanced tonearm with anti-skating and lateral balance. The heavy aluminum platter contributes to a stable and consistent playback of vinyl. Thanks to the fully automatic operation (start, auto-return, and stop), this model is particularly user-friendly.
Operation & condition
The turntable is working and runs steadily. All automatic functions, including start and auto-return, operate correctly. It is equipped with an Akai APC-2 pickup cartridge with a brand-new stylus. In addition, the drive belt has been replaced. The dust cover is present and in good condition. The overall visual condition of the turntable is very good, with only light signs of use appropriate for its age.
Included
Sold with power cord and 45 rpm adapter. RCA cables are not included.
Shipping / pickup
We prefer local pickup in Wachtebeke due to fragility, but shipping is possible at the buyer’s risk. We will provide as good protection as possible for all components.
