Mask, attributed to the Lwalwa (DR Congo), with a very characterful, dark patina and a pronounced, geometric modeling. The face is strongly architecturally built with a distinctive nose area and narrow eye openings. The perforations along the rim indicate original attachment of organic elements (fibers/head-dress), which is common in ritual masks from Central Africa.

Dimensions:
Height: 25 cm
Width: 20 cm
Depth: 11 cm

Important: the pedestal in the photos is for presentation purposes only; not included.
