The works are shipped from the artist based in the United States to our logistics platform in France, which handles import and customs clearance, before being individually returned to our collectors without any constraints. The transport cost includes all fees from the United States to your home.

If the work is damaged, you must refuse delivery and specify the reason for refusal on the delivery note, noting issues such as "broken," "scratched," "damaged," or "bent." If only the packaging is deteriorated but the content is intact, you may accept the package. However, if both the packaging and the content are damaged, you must refuse the package without hesitation. Note that if you accept the package without checking your purchase upon delivery, we cannot request compensation or replacement.

Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, gained fame in 2009 with his One Dollar sculptures, ranking that year among the ten best sculptors under 30 according to Artprice. In 2012, New York publication Farameh named him as one of the fifty best contemporary artists inspired by traditional American icons, in its book FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, at the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl on his impressive 2-meter bronze sculpture One Dollar, exhibited at the Grand Palais.

Karl Lagasse’s artistic journey began at age 7 with collages, inspired by his encounter with sculptor César Baldaccini. He later turned to tagging and graffiti in the Paris metro while staying passionate about collages. Artist Yvaral Vasarely encouraged him to merge his tags with his collages. In 2003, Karl prepared his first exhibition in Paris, which led to his first solo show in 2006 at the Isy Brachot gallery in Brussels. In 2008, he returned to Paris with an exhibition combining paintings, sculptures, and video elements at the Espace Pierre Cardin.

Karl particularly enjoys unveiling his works at international exhibitions. In 2011, he was represented by Bel Air Fine Art gallery at the Art Monaco fair with his creation Cryptogram One. The following year, he presented his One Dollar works under the theme "In God We Trust" at the Artco France gallery. His 2016 solo show at the Atrium gallery in Marbella, Spain, was inaugurated by the mayor, who praised his works to the international press.

2026: - Finalization of the work One Dollar Green Bronze 8 meters tall, weighing 7 tons. The largest One Dollar sculpture in the world created by the artist.

2025: - Installation of the monumental work Reflection of the Sun. Installed near the new Pavilion des Bains on the Promenade Michel d’Ornano, inaugurated by Mayor Philippe Augier on September 8.

2024: - Art Miami - Collective exhibitions at Galerie Nicolas Auvray New York. For the occasion, a bronze cryptogram 1.8 meters and a 2-meter One Dollar were exhibited during the event.
- 50th anniversary of the Deauville American Film Festival, for which the artist created 18 bronze trophies as well as a 2-meter sculpture to be installed at the CID. The artists interviewed about the artist and receiving the trophy include: Michael Douglas, Daisy Ridley, Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Mikey Madison...

2023: - Aspen Saint Regis: Installation of the 2-meter One Dollar in front of the St. Regis. The Aspen Times covered the event in a dedicated article.
- Rapper Rick Ross posed with a special St. Regis edition of One Dollar.

2022: - New York: Times Square NY City, projection on Nasdaq screen of the work "A One Dollar in the Cyberspace City."

2021: - New studio in Austin, Texas, USA.

2017: - Karl Lagasse succeeds the prestigious Cartier House in creating the trophies for the Deauville American Film Festival.

2016: - Art Fair Paris at the Grand Palais
- A two-meter-tall bronze One Dollar was exhibited at the Art Paris fair.
- The French president visited the exhibition and personally congratulated the artist for his work.
- First time in Spain at the Atrium gallery in Marbella, solo exhibition with new collections in the presence of international press and the mayor of the city, Jose Bernal Gutierrez. Special performance by his wife, operatic singer Cherise Lagasse, who performed pieces from her repertoire.

2015: - Second collaboration with Maserati with the creation of a monumental installation titled "A Piece of Heaven on Earth". This work features a Maserati covered with a white plastic film and a sculpture of Jesus Christ. Around the car, several sculptures representing one-dollar bills are placed on the ground, symbolizing the repayment of humanity’s greatest debt.

2014: - Maserati presents for the world premiere the Maserati Ghibli reimagined by artist Karl Lagasse on the occasion of the brand’s 100th anniversary.
- Solo exhibition at the Italian Embassy in Paris. The Italian ambassador to France hosts a dinner in his presence, around the artist’s works.

2013: - Collective exhibition Automobile Club de France, Place de la Concorde, Paris.

2012: - Karl donated to the city of Deauville a bronze Cryptogram One sculpture, which remains permanently at the city entrance.
- For the 65th Cannes Film Festival anniversary, Karl created a sculpture “Building” made from a collage of photos tracing the festival’s history.
