Description from the seller
Skeletal clock, also known as a watermill clock, with a large water wheel and steel balls. This industrial clock has a large paddle wheel on the right side with small steel balls. The weight of these balls powers the clock. The time is read on a large porcelain dial with black Arabic numerals. Every minute a small ball falls from the water wheel onto a track, where the steel ball rolls to the left. The water tower with a large spiral pillar picks up the balls one by one and lifts them up. Every 60 seconds a steel ball drops from the left tower into the channel to the water wheel. This cycle repeats as long as the clock runs. The clock has a pendulum at the back to regulate the time. The entire operation of this clock is like a water wheel, only the balls flow through the channel and there is a clock on the large wheel.
The clock is protected by a glass case with a door at the front.
The clock is 46 cm high, 41 cm wide and 25 cm deep, including the glass cap.
The original was made by Peter Bonnert.
This is a beautiful reproduction, made in China.
The clock comes with a clear user manual/instructions in English (translated with Google Translate).
Operation is shown on You Tube: https://youtu.be/WPeSsWwXyMI
Skeletal clock is safely packaged and shipped in two packages, insured with track & trace.
The glass dome is shipped in a separate package.
The shipping costs are therefore somewhat higher!!!
