Refined column in darkened wood, dating to the 19th century.
Suggestive, beautiful in form and appearance, it is characterized by a slender cylindrical trunk with prestigious turned and moulded elements.
The large circular base, high and stepped on multiple levels, and the upper stepped and shaped platform define its balanced and proportioned line, typical of 19th-century decorative production.
The beautiful darkened finish highlights the cleanliness of the shapes and the quality of the ancient artisanal workmanship.

Designed as a display pedestal of ample measures (height 106.5 cm, lower capital 30 cm), the column is ideal for highlighting sculptures, busts, vases, or other works of art, imparting verticality and a strong dramatic presence to the room.
Divisible into multiple parts assembled to a threaded wooden core.
It is presented in good condition with signs of aging consistent with its age (see photos) and an anti-woodworm treatment has been carried out.
