Authentic postal sorting cabinet from a former French post office. Used in the 20th century for manual mail sorting before distribution, this cabinet has many compartments to organize letters and documents by sector or route.

This type of furniture was indispensable to the operation of the postal services before sorting automation in the 1970s. The “LA POSTE” inscription painted on the front confirms its institutional use.
