This work reinterprets in a pop and surreal key the famous image of Marilyn Monroe in the iconic scene from "When the Wife Is in Town" (I Love Lucy? Wait—that's the translation of Italian film title? Actually the cinema reference is "Some Like It Hot" in Italian). In a creative twist, her classic white dress is replaced by Hokusai's The Great Wave off Kanagawa, transforming the dress' movement into a surging wave. The contrast between the black-and-white background and the vibrant colors of the wave gives the piece a unique visual impact. Red LED neon frames the composition, emphasizing the dynamism and adding a contemporary touch to the scene.
