Beautiful, characterful French console from the Louis Philippe period (c. 1830–1850). A piece that immediately stands out for its warm appearance and its elegant, calm form.

The console is made of solid wood and has developed over the years a beautiful, well-worn patina. The combination of the central drawer, the refined front, and the gracefully curved legs gives the whole piece a timeless charm without being ostentatious.

This type of console was often placed in a hallway or drawing room in the 19th century, for example under a mirror or against a wall. Practical to use, but at the same time meant to impress—precisely that feeling this piece still conveys.
