Nason / Moretti - Drinking set (6) - Crystal

Set of 6 goblets in transparent mouth-blown crystal with various engraved depictions of children and plants: a child seated on a crescent moon playing a flute, a girl on the clouds holding a basket of fruit, a child with a walking stick and a basket of flowers on the back, and three depicted branches and flowers; slender, tall body with a gilt edge, knot with gold inclusions and a trumpet foot, of which 2 are 23 cm tall and 4 are 22.3 cm high with a diameter of 5.8 and 5.5 cm, produced by Nason & Moretti, Murano, 1965-1970 (Venice), made in Italy. These goblets, in a limited edition, were mouth-blown according to the ancient techniques of the Venetian glass masters. The foot is conical and bears the withered knot stem sprayed with aventurine, supporting the elongated bell-shaped cup. The decorative motif on the cup is hand-engraved with the copper wheel.
