Pair of antique French white marble and gilt bronze cossettes from circa 1900 in the Napoléon III style, standing on three bronze circular feet with a marble base edged in bronze, a curved marble shaft with central and lateral bronze appliqués, and a bronze pinnacled cap; 25.7 cm high, 13 cm wide, 9.3 cm deep, total weight 2,682 g, generally excellent condition with minor dirt on one lid, very slight abrasions, micro loss on one body and under the base of the other, and lids not aligned.

Pair of antique French cassolettes in white marble and gilded bronze, from the Napoleon III period - late 19th century.
They rest on three circular bronze feet, a circular marble base mounted with a profile in worked bronze with palmettes. The elongated curved shaft in marble with central and lateral bronze appliques. The summit is decorated with a bronze casting featuring a pinecone pinnacle.
Dimensions: 25.7 h x 13 x 9.3 cm. Approx. Total weight: 2682 g.
Excellent overall condition, traces of dirt on the lid of one, very slight abrasions, micro loss of surface on the body of one and under the base of another. The lid of one is not aligned with the body.
