Presidential-type United States coin in gold alloy, with a realistic-style obverse portrait of Zachary Taylor and a marked sculptural character, showing a high level of detail in the hair and facial features. The reverse features the figure of the Statue of Liberty holding the torch, a modern design with defined lines and balanced composition. The specimen features intense and uniform satin luster, clean fields and sharp reliefs with no noticeable signs of circulation, in accordance with preservation without wear. It is part of the Presidential $1 Coin Program series started in 2007 to commemorate the presidents of the United States in chronological order.
