Lamp of Magne Lite by Goffredo Reggiani for Reggiani Lamps, 1960s. From Reggiani's ingenious idea, this lamp was born that can function as both a floor lamp and a wall lamp (applique). Its spherical structure, magnetically anchored to the base, makes it very flexible and orientable almost to 365 degrees. The base can be placed on a table or mounted on a wall. The magnetic fastening system was so innovative at the time of its design in the 1960s that it was patented. Splendid example of Space Age style, with outer blue steel finish and inner white steel, it is an icon of Italian design of the era.

Lampada Magne Lite di Goffredo Reggiani per Reggiani Lamps, anni '60. Da un'ingegnosa idea di Reggiani nasce questa lampada che può fungere sia da lampada da terra che da applique. La sua struttura sferica, ancorata magneticamente alla base, la rende molto flessibile e orientabile quasi a 365 gradi. La base può essere appoggiata su un tavolo o montata a parete. Il sistema di fissaggio magnetico era così innovativo all'epoca della sua progettazione negli anni '60 da essere brevettato. Splendido esempio dello stile Space Age, con finitura esterna in acciaio color blue interno in acciaio bianco, è un'icona del design italiano dell'epoca.
